oh my god. lauren is so funny on the phone w/ her mom i can't take it. "mommy!! i think i'm coming home this weekend. you know how i was supposed to go to new paltz w/ nicole? well the kid i was gonna stay w/ got really drunk and his friend was also really drunk and threw a chair at him and he had to get 9 staples in his head, so i can't really stay with him" who says that to their mom? and she talks about laguna with her mom she's like "omg steven went to visit lauren and they didn't even hook up!!" she shows her mom pictures..she is crazy, i love it. she was telling her about our obsession with "my humps"...i guess you have to hear the conversation to understand the obsession.
so friday we went to the shabbat service(me, lauren, lauren and jake). it was interesting, to say the least. we got in trouble for taking pictures(not being rude...it was in a room in the campus center and it was way before anyone was there)..then we didn't know any of the words/tunes. there were only 8 or 9 people there, including the 4 of us, so it was very awkward. me, lauren abler, and erin met barry at the habitat fundraiser and ate dominos for free, went to lauren and erin's friends room in state for 5 minutes, came back here, and me and lauren did our economics homework because we're so cool like that. it was actually a really fun night though haha, aplia included.
yesterday i was woken up at 11am for a fire drill. after standing there for half an hour(our fire drills are at least an hour bc the tower is 22 floors), we realized we should get brunch so me, camy, lauren, colie and barry went. ate, came back to the room, read more of slut, watched some of punch drunk love/meet the parents. me, lauren, colie, and barry went to pauly's at night with some people on our floor(even though we didn't stay with them) and i had a lot of fun. some interesting costumes definitely. me and laurie got to do our song and dance when my humps came on..and then a really scary guy turns around and starts like..groping lauren and nicole. boys at albany are really cool. we left and a girl we were making fun of all night paid for our cab home since we were so nice to let her in. oh, and lauren and nicole are friends with this cab driver and they are so insane in the cab, it's great. so it was a good night and i only spent $5. we came back at like 1 and stayed up til 5am(by we i mean me)...thanks jackie, i love you<3 i've realized that for some reason i'm always a lot more emotional at night.
