Whooooo
Well alright. This post is part because I haven't updated in a while and part because I took a shower, it's time to go to bed, but I wanna listen to more Death Cab for Cutie. More on that...
Last weekend was great. Friday I didn't go to class at all. A review class, an optional class, and a canceled class. So I was alright. It was nice. Friday night we went over to a party with some friends of friends. Had about 4 beers, took a shot of Jim Beam, had another 4 beers--all on a pretty empty stomach. Got a cup of beer drunken-accidentally kicked all over my shoes. Luckily beer dries clear. Or indiscernable on white shoes. Anyways. Went to Phillip's house after with Colt and Mark and Richard and I passed out on the couch (with my shoes on.. had penises drawn on me too). Saturday woke up at 2 and then tailgated until the game (7:15), which involved playing a bunch of games of flip cup (and rocking them hardcore) and drinking beer. Got a decent buzz going. The game was crazy. Vandy came back and tied us, forcing OT. The stadium was only about 2/3 capacity, but it was the loudest I've ever heard it. It was also my first overtime game. After that we went over to Candler's frat house for a party, but they had dark beer (not good) and I really didn't feel like drinking anymore. Chilled with Colt and Diego and called it a night. Sunday was R&R and football.
This week was crazy. I didn't get more than 7 hours of sleep any night. Monday morning I woke up early and wrote a rough draft 5 pages long (with a bunch of research) for English that day. Monday was classes (I skipped math again.. it was one final review). Worked on a big project for Cities of the World. Tuesday was a Calc exam. I did maybe half the homework for the sections covered by the exam and didn't prepare for the test at all. Winged it. Got an A, I'm pretty sure. I'm sweet like that. Anyways, worked on that project some more. Wednesday morning I got up early again, finished up my essay that was due that day and finished the project for Cities of the World that was due that day. Last night we went to the gym and I hit the weights really hard because I hadn't been able to go at all this week. Um. Today I woke up early yet again in order to register for classes. I also thought I had to do a whole big project for Computer class, but it turned out it's due Monday since Friday is a holiday (whew.). Anyways. Rough week. I need to blow off some steam, but I don't think it's going to happen. Not after coming home tonight to quaint lil' Merritt Island, where all parties get broken up!
Yea.. So.. Softball Playoff game Sunday at 9pm. Should be fun.
I downloaded Death Cab for Cutie's new cd, "Plans", two days ago. I've been listening to it a lot. It's awesome. That band is also the one I was listening to when I totaled my car. Pretty much ruined that whole cd for me, but this cd is new and it's great. I'm kind of rediscovering them as a band.
So much more to say, but my pillow/bed looks much more appealing than the keyboard and monitor.
