WELL...........
I have no date to prom, but I did just watch the movie MIRACLE. Surprisingly, I enjoyed it. I had originally come to the conclusion that my eyes would never veiw that movie. I simply couldn't handle a movie that was inevitably going to be REMEMBER THE TITANS on ice; however, I was surprised. Happily. I think I was about to cry. It may have been the patriotism spurting out of the t.v. itself during some of the scenes. It may have been the kinship, the family of the team. It may have been Kurt Russell wearing the same pants in every scene. I am not sure what it was, but I had a good time. I have to say Disney has made a monopoly on creating feel good, true story films. Cool Runnings, Remember the Titans, Radio, and now this. My only qualm with those films is that, except for the minor girlfriend or wife roles, they lacked females. I'm not saying they lacked feminity, each had sprigs here and there. All I am saying is that Disney needs to make a film about girls. I guess girls haven't ever done anything so incredible. Let's see...what have we done, I must find something for my ladies. Well there was...that---the...one time there was a girl...look ok, so I can't think of anything particularly outstanding a group/team of women have done in the field of sports, but who cares WE ARE THE SWEAT AND BLOOD OF AMERICAN SOCIETY. WE BAKE THE BREAD AND HAVE THE BABIES. WE HAVE RIGHTS TOO. SUFFERAGE IS NOT ENOUGH! TOGETHER WE MUST RISE WOMEN! WE MUST RISE AND BOYCOTT DISNEY! WE MUST COME TOGETHER!
geeze and i wonder why i don't have a prom date
