Regarding Norway and the debt ceiling gridlock
Every day, I go to news sites, and I see people screaming to "kill the liberals" and blaming "libtards" and "socialists" (read: anyone to the left of FOX news) for any and every woe of this country - anything not knee-jerk agreeing with it all is "liberal bias" and proof of some jack-booted liberal conspiracy on the part of any news outlet but Murdoch's to turn us all into a Stalinist state. I see posts every day proposing illegal immigration get solved with "30 cent ammo" and proposing the same solution for overcrowded jails. so many posts amount to "I've stocked up on food, gold, guns and ammo - to hell with the rest of you!"
I'm entirely convinced that there's at least a SIGNIFICANT portion of Americans who applaud the fellow for gunning down liberals and blaming immigrants for "destruction of their culture." Because they're just as determined to hurt people and implode the entire country just to score political points against the (imagined) "Muslim illegal immigrant socialist" in the White House. Maybe we should let them have exactly the world they want to live in - I don't see any significant organizing force opposing them. Perhaps we're too few and too powerless.
