(no subject)
i'm back in santa cruz after a two week hiatus in san luis. i had a good time relaxing, eating up novels like potato chips, and visiting with my family. now i'm back in santa cruz, less than a week before school starts, with no official home and no job of any sort. i'm going to crash with jon until i find a place of my own. for three weeks at the most. i'm mildly stressed about all the unknowns that seem to be layed out so close in front of me, but i am going to try to take it one day and task at a time and not work myself into a panic. despite the whole no job or house thing, i still have bills to pay and errands to run. i just got a totally ludicrous bill in the mail from dell claiming i owe over 400 dollars, when all i've purchased on that account was my computer monitor over a year ago. and i've been paying monthly since then. 400? i don't think so. and then there's a bunch of other bullshit i have to work out with ucsc... if they'll ever answer their phones or return my calls! bleh... oh, but i should have learned my lesson from jungle book long ago... "accentuate the positive" my new motto. lol
it is warm, without a cloud in the sky.
the family drama this visit was kept to a minimum.
i had a safe ride here.
i get to see my baby and tina and her cats. hehe.
still have some time left before it's back to the books....
i had cake the past three days! hooray! life is just so awesome. tear.
