Spell 9 ~ Aging Event; Older
I've been here for nearly a week now, and it's amazing how nothing has changed. I don't suppose it would have, really, since it seems I've just been transported back in time... The island really is a strange and incredible place. It's been seven years for me, but now that I've been back for a bit, it feels like only yesterday.
It's wonderful seeing so many of my old friends again! I see I wasn't the only one brought back here, and it seems that still others have been turned into younger versions of themselves. I remember when I was turned back to being a child... if not for the kindness of so many here, I would have spent the entire week hiding in fear. I only hope I can help others in the same way, now.
I've been taking a lot of walks and spending a lot of time outside. My world is getting better, but I've really missed crystal clear water and bright blue skies, and vibrant green plants. I wish I could show the children this place... but I suppose I'll just have to work toward the continued restoration of my world. It's slow, but we are making progress. There is always hope, after all!
