Who: Lex Luthor, The Joker
What: Catching up.
Where: Outside the Gotham City Art Museum
Lex sighed as he finally slipped out the doors into the relatively fresh air outside. Even breathing in Gotham's smog was better than inhaling anymore expensive perfume and cologne from the socialites packing the Gotham City Art Museum for the charity auction. Lex hadn't been particularly inclined to go, but the good PR was its own reward, and Lex tended to play nice for the cameras whenever he was plotting. That, and he'd wanted to check on Bruce without being obvious. But Bruce hadn't been there, and Lex had ended up cornered by some wealthy widow from Star City before he'd been able to make his escape.
Loosening his tie, he signalled his limo driver to pull around to the front steps. It had been a long, annoying night, and he wanted to go home to a glass of scotch and his plans. When the limo screeched to a halt in front of him, Lex slipped inside without a second look. That turned out to be a mistake.
The carpet was covered in what was probably champagne, if the broken glass bottles were any indication, and sitting across from him, feet propped up on the leather seat, was the Joker. He raised his glass of champagne in greeting.
"Lexy! Good to see you."
