Summary: What has Sam Winchester lost?
Author’s notes: Day 2 -Tell about a character who lost something important to him/her.
The question isn’t what has Sam Winchester lost…the question is what has Sam Winchester not lost.
Because Sam Winchester has lost a lot: his mother, father, girlfriend, brother (countless times), other brother, pseudo-father, and numerous friends. Of course, he still has his brother, even though, he’s lost him more than anybody else. With all the things he’s lost, Sam hasn’t lost his ability to feel…Okay, well he did lose it there for a while, but now it’s back. He still feels guilty for dressing in the kitschy clothes and pretending to be something he’s not. His heart still aches when he sees a woman with bouncy blonde curls and an easy smile. Likewise, his eyes still sting slightly when he smells freshly baked chocolate-chip cookies.
The losses, though, they’re what make Sam Winchester, well Sam Winchester. Without the loss, he would’ve never been a hunter and he would’ve never been close with Dean… And god he loves Dean.
