... I just got this idea and it wouldn't leave me alone. Apparently, I'm a whore for OT3, and you all knew that already. Let this be the exception of the rule or something.
Sort of Ancient Greece/Ancient Rome/Germania. Not safe for work.
According to Rome, Greece is savage and yet quiet, with fierce eyes and bloody hands that don't hesitate to rip the entrails of her people's enemies, a warrior as fierce as anyone they had ever known. When Rome talked about her, Germania used to think about some creature half female and half beast, a wolf with dark fur and wild eyes.
But she's a female that looks almost, almost too much like Rome but there are differences. Where Rome is uncultured she talks to him about politics and ideals, discussing her people's thoughts with music in her voice and so much pride that Germania can almost see what Rome sees in her.
Except that Greece hates Rome, hates him and fights against him, with sword and spear and hands and legs and words, her whole body fighting when Rome gets close. Her charm goes away and she fights, fights, fights.
"He's going to destroy me," Greece confesses, her togue hicked up on her thighs so it doesn't get wet. Her skin is brown all over, and Germania knows that her hands are rough, has felt them before, and he thought they were like Rome's. "That's the reason why I cannot forgive him."
"... he loves you. Haven't you noticed that?" yes, they fight, they destroy, but Rome is fiercely protective of what is his, he never is as ruthless as he is when he's protecting something he owns.
But Greece sighs and looks at him. "Yes. But even so, he is going to destroy me. The fact that it's going to be a mistake... I'm going to die a slow death, and my remains will be left all over these lands for everyone to see how I failed. That's what I cannot forgive."
And she sounds so certain of it that Germania just can't tell her that she's mad, so instead he reaches towards her and kisses her until the expression on her eyes goes away.
