In shocking news: LJ still sucks. Next: the sky is blue and pigs can't, in fact, fly.

OMG INSANEJOURNAL. *loves* Yeah, the internet guy didn't come, so here's hoping for Monday.

Now, my thoughts on pop culture in the world, let me show you them.
... I don't have that many of them, actually. I mean, I obviously have them, they're just not something frequent. I belong to the clique that doesn't belong anywhere else, a little hippie and a lot 'LOCKED INSIDE THE PINK BUBBLE' and then a lot idealist.
I don't like the world, but at the same time I adore it, so I try to... just focus on the nice aspects of life, when I can, if I can. There is so much beauty in this world if you know how to look for it - and if you don't have to do lines. Lines are Evil. But anyway, yes. Since I belong to That Group, I kind of never know if something is popular or not. I depend on the rest of the world telling me what's in or what's out. I find out singers and I love them and I find out later that half the world is loving them or hating them. I react to stuff that went out years ago that I just found out. At the same time, many times I don't wanna know what other people think about it, because people hating on things I like... it makes me feel protective (how have I EVER survived in fandom this long, I have no idea).
So... I don't really pay attention to what's popular here in Queretaro. I know that the emo-culture is strong: last week there was a mob attacking four or five teenagers because 'they were invading downtown' and so now I'm kind of terrified that my two younger sisters might go out and somehow get involved - not because they'd do something like that, but because I fear mob mentality. I know that my 16 years old sister wants to linch me sometimes because I could live happily ever after in my two sizes too big jeans.
Aaaand. Well. Popular culture comes and goes. Just like now people think that dressing like in the 80's is cool - oh god why - I'm now hoping for the Renaissance-like culture to be popular again. It's gonna ROCK when it comes.
And, oh yeah: The Backstreet Boys are amazing forever and ever, kthnx.
internet: is broken,
me: it's all about me
