YESTERDAY I drove to Denver to visit Annie and then walk from her adorable downtown apartment to the art museum. (I refuse to go back until they finish the new wing & have more contemporary/modern art.) Then I met up with AIGA people. Costumes=optional. So I went as a dingbat. Wings and a bell. If you get it, you're a nerdy designer. Met people, got some job-leads and lots of tips. Scary to go alone, but managed just fine. Chatted with the former Taxi-headquarters-turned artist-space-building-architects for quite a while.
TODAY I had a coffee class. A little caffeine buzz has since filled my brain... I'm about to crash. Naptime.
TODAY is Michael Jackson's birthday. He's going to buy himself a billiards table.
TONIGHT I'm babysitting a well-behaved two year old at a five-star resort.
