My born-again-virgin ears are virgins no longer. I had them pierced today. This follows being given yet another pair of earrings by people who you think might have noticed by now that I never wear earrings. And its not because I don't own any. I actually have quite a collection - virtually all given to me since the holes closed up a decade ago. (Well, to be truthful, I did try piercing them again a year or so back and they ached so much and got infected so quickly, I think it was less than a week before I took the blasted earrings out again).
