Miss Crustacean

This is one of three pictures of me as "Miss Crustacean!" My friend Jaime likes the Miss Crustacean series best of all -- I was surprised by that! I don't know if I really have a FAVORITE -- but I do think that Miss Crustacean is probably not it! (Marilyn Monroe, the gypsy fortune teller, and the sideshow freak are all -- I think -- stronger, with more interesting compositions and content.) BUT, I have to say that it feels good that some of my less favorite images are someone else's favorite!!!
Last night in class, I put up all of my work to see how it looked all together. Jaime and another friend, Peter, helped me really figure out what I was going to present as my final project. "Miss Crustacean" has become a triptych (series of three images).
