It's been awhile.

Sooo....I'm back from good old Florida. I had a good time with the family. I missed a lot of my friends though...so I'm happy to be back.

What I'm really happy about is the most amazing thing I've ever purchased (besides my digital camera). Umm, I bought the Pink perfume by Victoria's Secret...I'm in love with it. It smells deliciously amazing. I heart it a lot.

Tomorrow Lindsey is coming to visit!!!!!! Yay. And then we're driving up to South Carolina for a little New Year's Eve shindig. How exciting. I can't even wait.

I saw King Kong last night and it was pretty much amazing. Yes, I cried...but it was a great movie. And I recommend it to everyone.

Funny how I'm so happy. I like it a lot.

I can't believe this year is almost over...that's insane. So much has happened this year. I just can't believe it's almost over.

So let's take a glance back at 2005. Here were my New Year's resolutions: I said that I would study hard at UGA, make the most of my roommate situation, not jump into any future relationships and demand the utmost respect from any future boyfriends, I said that I would work on my sarcasm and work on seeing the good in everyone, and I also decided I would work on getting jealous of other people's good fortunes.

Hmm...I DEFINITELY studied hard at UGA (can we say 4.0???). I have made the most of my roommate situation...we get along and I've become really close friends with all the chickas on my hall. I don't think I jumped into any relationships. Afterall, I demand apologies....and I demand to be treated with respect. I'm still super sarcastic...and I try to see the good in everyone. I definitely DO NOT get jealous of other's good fortunes anymore...I don't even remember ever doing that. But whatever. Man, I did a pretty good job.

2005 was one of the best years ever. I learned the beauty of being independent...and of making new friends. I started the year off at Ashley's bonfire with my then boyfriend, Carson. I spent lots of time hanging out with Brittney, Jacob, Lyndsay, Jeremy, Niki, Joey, Taylor, and Jimmy. I experienced a GREAT Valentine's Day. I went to NYC and roomed with Lora, Brittney, and Lyndsay and had sooo much fun. I went on Spring Break with a lovely group of ladies....and enjoyed every moment. I learned that being single was soooo much better than being in a relationship. I leanred that I don't need a boy to "hold me up"....that I can pretty much do that by myself. For the first time in my life, I told someone "how it was." I pretty much laid him out. And I'm proud of myself. On the other hand, Andrew and I finally mended our broken friendship during tennis season. I prepared to graduate...and received lots of awards and lots of scholarship money. I went to prom with Michael Tucker and I had sooo much fun. I danced the night away. I graduated as SALUTATORIAN of the Class of 2005. I read my speech...and enjoyed the heck out of graduating...yes I cried. I attended lots of parties (some with drinking...and some without drinking). I continued working at Beef O Brady's...and I also taught tennis to kids. I learned that sometimes friendships can go sour...due to alcohol. I hung out with Tristan and Drew a lot over the summer. The TPC was created over the summer. I met the Italian boys over the summer. I played LOTS of trivia over the summer. I moved away from home...and learned how to be independent. I met Lindsey Large...and we became fast friends, as did the other girls on the hall. I learned the bus routes, my way around campus, and how bad skipping class can be. I learned all about 9W. I decided that there were a lot of hot guys at UGA....who needed to be single. I also decided that there were a lot of short guys...and that made me feel weird. My best friend, A.J., and I lost touch. I guess we just kind of grew apart...he's not the only one though. I grew apart from a lot of people that I went to high school with. I learned that Buford is SUCH a small part of the whole world...and I learned about diversity at UGA. I figured out that being surrounded my people of your intelligence level is great...and sometimes really competitive and hard. I went to the UGA homecoming parade...and it was spectacular. I enjoyed many UGA football games. I went downtown a few times (but still have not stepped foot in a bar...haha). I crowned the new Miss Buford High School (Miss Amy Brownie)...and also rode in a parade. It was lots of fun. I went to lots of concerts. I came home for Thanksgiving Break...and received an amazing surprise...an apology. I learned about forgiveness, trusting, and healing. I experienced sheer terror...but you came to my rescue. I thank you for that. I also experienced finals...and they are a pain in the butt. I learned that good things come in 2's and 3's...and sometimes choosing is the hardest thing you can do. You might be accused of lying about your feelings. So thanks for that. Finally, I also learned that honesty is the best policy. And I strongly believe that. Mmmkk...that was 2005 all wrapped up. Kinda long, but you know how I roll.

One more thing...I need some resolutions for 2006. That's weird to type. Haha. I'm so used to typing 2005....anyways. Umm...I'm going to read the Bible more and become closer to God. I want to work on being a better person in more ways than one. I want to continue being honest. I am going to work out at least twice a week (unless I'm on vacation). I would also like to eat better. I want to stand up for myself...and voice my opinions more instead of just taking it.

Yea...well...who knows. I'll be checking back in on these, I'm sure.

Enough...I need to clean for Miss Lindsey Large.
