ipod drama.
My ipod died. There were several warning signs, granted, but I was not aware that it would not be fixed.
Soooo now I guess I need a new one. I really don't feel like spending 200+ on a video ipod; ebay might be an option.
I think what pisses me off most about this whole situation is the fact that these things are MADE to only last 2-3 years. It suddenly dawned on me that this is all part of Apple's little game to con you into buying a newer model once yours dies.
Life is cruel.
Thus, I will be traveling to Paris on Thursday with NO music. We'll be there for four days, then in Belgium for one, so I'll just read my head off. Some of the reading material will include:
- The Poisonwood Bible (summer reading; hoping to finish it before I go)
- The Kite Runner (summer reading; very excited to read this)
- The Red Tent (summer reading; also excited for this one)
- Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (borrowing it from a friend in hopes of finishing it by the time I get back for the 7th one)
I pre-ordered Hospital Music today off of Amazon Canada bwahaha. Having a hard copy of the album better be worth my $21.98. It should be.
