yeah you should get some sort of Mac. Most people who are serious about art and design use macs. I like PCs more but my next computer is going to be a mac simply because I want to do more design work.

I hate macs, but you should get one because you're an artist and that's basically what they're for. Plus, Vista is, as far as I can tell, a craptacular ripoff of an Apple OS. Also, I MISS YOU.

yeah, you know this is what i do, and im a PC person, but everything i read says macs are the way to go for art and desgign

Seconding (or.....fifthing) the option of getting a Mac. Vista ships with every Windows machine now, so unless you've got XP install discs, you can't avoid it. I personally haven't had that much trouble with my Vista machine, but it doesn't have Photoshop on it. The only thing with the Mac is you're going to be paying a little more for something that's not necessarily a lot better. 2 cents, deposited!
