I request your expert opinions. Okay, I stole away from home to grab some quick internet at the library. I have a question: which computer is best for an up-coming artist?
I usually spend all of my summer wages on gas and food durign the year. But this year I'm only going to school until December (hopefully). So along with this my parents are cashing in a savings bond for my sister and I since she's having a baby and will need the money. This is a good opportunity, while I'm in scholl I want to take advantage of student prices and get the best deal I can. I'll give Muse (in and of itself a very fine computer) to my parents and be in the market for a dream machine. I'd like to buy Photoshop and Illustrator and have plenty of memory (although I have an external harddrive that might take care of that. I want to store tons of music and be able to burn cds. I want a desktop, not a lap top. I would LOVE a tablet but I don't really think that's in the cards. I'm scared of Windows Vista but I am considering a Mac. This savings bond will help me out, but I've always been very prudent with large purchases so I don't want to go crazy. What do you think?
