Just once I’d like to come out of consuming a piece of media with all three conditions being met:

1) Being really invested in a ship.

2) That ship being the most popular one/one of the most popular ones (assuming there are 2+ ships with somewhat similar levels of popularity.
3) It’s a (fairly) large (or at least very active) fandom.
