FMM angst
I really think I should stop following FMM. To save my nerves. Some of the people there piss me off like crazy. I don't agree with a lot of the ideology going around. And, honestly, all the Sherlock hate is ridiculous. I don't even understand why they hate it so much. (Because the leads are white and male? Honestly, that's not a valid reason to hate a show IMO. Especially since Sherlock IS NOT an independent show. It was based on the ACD stories. Oh come on, everyone knows this. So they wanted to keep true to the characters. I don't see how that's wrong. *shrug*)
Oh lol, and now they're hating on Molly because she's introverted and socially awkward and her official BBC blog reflects that (Duh, why shouldn't it.). Right, because if a girl is shy/awkward/whatever else that doesn't fit a "badass feminist" stereotype it just HAS to be sexism. There are totally no real women like that. Sure. In that sense Irene is so much better. (Oh don't even get me started on the calls to vote for her because Johnlock shippers tend to dislike her,) She knocks a guy out with a gun! She's "sexually liberated"! (She's still a sexist portrayal of females but w/e we'll ignore that for now becasue this is still better than shy and awkward and in love with a guy.) What? She works with Moriarty who is a child-kidnapping, psychopathic terrorist supporter? Pff still better than shy and awkward and in love with a guy. /sarcasm
