So, Fandom March Madness comments.
First of all, I feel bad for doing a fail and not getting all my votes in on time :( For some reason I though I had 12 more hours that I actually had to vote. Bleh. Sorry to the one person I traded votes with...
Also, from the spread sheet it seems like they though Law and Order was ineligible. not sure why, it's still a running show. W/e it wouldn't have made it in anyway.
At least Suits made it in!
But here's what really...interesting. This...section...of fandom is definitely obsessed with female characters. Now, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with liking female characters lol. In some cases it makes sense (like with Hermione in HP). But for many fandoms it is SO not representative of how things actually are in fandom. (Like, ok, Molly is leading the Sherlock poll right now. Trust me, this is not representative of actual favoritism in fandom.) I just get this feeling the the voting there, for a lot of people, is either very principle based, or it has to do with the section of fandom that has gathered there.
Again, this is not a bad thing, but unless this is just "too early to tell" then my interest is going down a bit. (Or maybe this is because my fave characters iin almost all fandoms are guys lol).
