Minor Successes.

So, in my efforts for the 100 days of something (I *think* I posted about that here...) I'm down in the social area of the house again.

I got myself lunch.

The Husband had left an opened/drained can of tuna for me in the fridge. I got a bowl, and put Miracle Whip in to be mixed in. I put the tuna in it, spending the time to scoop all the little shreds out, both because I was taught 'do not waste' by people raised through the Depression, and to make it less attractive to the cats. I got a plate I could cut on, and a knife that would cut both tomatos and not-tomatoes. I pulled out 1 whole stick of celery, one scallion, and 4 grape tomatoes. I brought it into the dining room so I could do the prep while being in WoW. It only took me 4 sit downs in the kitchen, 3 trips, and I only dropped the top of the mayonaise jar and one grape tomato onto the floor.

I brought it all into the dining room and sliced things up and mixed them. Oh, and 4 slices of bread, taosted.

(... ok, tao sted should totally be something to do with bread, and maybe tea and meditation.)

I retrieved the tomato myself. The top of the mayo will have to wait for someone else to come home, as in my attempt to pick it up I managed to knock it under something I can't get under.

Hopefully this can continue, at least this well.
