(no subject)
At Tim's for the weekend. The rest of the time I've been at my mother's house cleaning out the attic. Somewhere around 20 garbage bags full of clothes have been filled and sent to Goodwills in the area so far. I've saved a few bags of interesting vintage clothing which we want to get rid of including a lot of nearly brand new vintage seventies jeans and such(hips are too narrow for me- they were mom's, obviously.) Kelly gets first dibs (because she's tiny and asked first,) but if anyone else is interested, let me know.
In cleaning I've found some wonderful things, like antique laces, fascinating papers, photographs, letters, newspaper clippings, jewelry, and diaries. I desperately need to improve my handwriting... some of these notes are a piece of art in themselves!

I'm knitting a scarf for Terri, Tim's mom- 80% baby alpaca, 20% silk. Very soft and smooth- and it's the first scarf I've done from a pattern. I'll put up pictures when I'm done. <3
I've also been documenting some of the papers and such I've found. They'll probably be put on facebook.
