Cell phone advice time!!
(It seems like I do this every few months. I've been prompted again by gregmce's recent new phone purchase.)
Here's the rundown:
-Current phone: VERY old Samsung I bought in 2000; it's very outdated; all my friends make fun of me!
-Current plan: On Sprint. I think I have like 500 minutes for like $50 a month or something...
-I tried to get a new phone in 2003 and got roped into a new two-year agreement. This was before they were offering any kind of discount on new phones for current customers. Out of spite, I kept my current phone and decided to wait two-years before I screwed them over... MWAA-HA-HA!
-Two-year enslavement has ended!!!! YAY!
-Wanted to switch to Verizon. Heard it's the best in the area...
-Also REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want a Motorola Razr!
-Verizon doesn't have the Motorola Razr.... yet!
-T-Mobile now has the Razr!
-I can buy the Razr through Motorola's website and get a free Bluetooth Headset for $100!!!!! There's a $100 mail-in rebate.
-I can get 600 minutes on T-Mobile for only $40!
The question: How good is T-Mobile?!? Who's on T-Mobile? Do you like it?!?
Now that I'm living in the city, I also want to ditch my 703 phone number and get a 202. So, I'll be getting a new number no matter what...
