This information will be forwarded to our retail operations department for follow up with the store owners. Your comments are invaluable in helping our Scoop Shops provide the best possible experience to their visitors.

Here is the information we received from you:
On 4/17/07, you visited one of our scoop shops (Macys Herald Square) in New York, NY at around 6:00 PM.
Comment:
The Macy's Herald Square scoop shop had a hand written sign stating that the free cone promotion ended at 5pm. There were multiple people complaining to an employee about the fact that ben & jerry's web site stated 8pm as the end time. The manager stood alongside her, not saying a word to explain why they decided to end it at 5pm. I simply walked away in disgust, not interested in being duped by Ben & Jerry's again. Was this a ploy to trick people into showing up and buying a scoop of ice cream for $4 when they thought it was going to be free? It is nice enough for your company to provide this promotion but to post a false advertisement is not how a company is going to gain customers. Hopefully you do something to make amends. A free scoop coupon perhaps? Meanwhile I will stick to Cold Stone Creamery.
