complaint to NJ Transit on their web site

On my commute home from work today I was in need of the bathroom on the train from Hoboken to Montclair. As I searched for the bathroom from front to end of the train I reached the metal bar between cars that the conductor sets down to block admittance. I asked the conductor #457010 if the bathroom car was there and she told me yes but that it was broken. I contemplated getting off at the wrong stop or else having to urinate on myself when I decided to go check the bathroom myself and if necessary, use an empty water bottle I had to relieve myself. I saw no sign on the bathroom door indicating that it was broken and I saw nothing wrong with the toilet. After I finished it flushed like the railcar bathrooms normally do. When I confronted her on the issue as I got off at my stop at Watchung Avenue she claimed that it was broken. I highly doubt that the bathroom was fixed during her duty on the train on that specific route, while the train was in motion. I noticed a backpack of personal belongings on one of the train seats in the blocked-off car that the bathroom was on, with some papers layed out on the seat as well. It seems to me that this selfish conductor was worried that I would touch her personal belongings that she, being on duty, should not be looking at. In turn she denied my right as a monthly-pass purchasing customer to use the facilities on the train, of which I was in dire need of. I was and am furious at the unprofessionalism that this conductor exhibited. As I complained to her, all she could do was try to avoid taking responsiblity and told me to talk to the head conductor. The issue obviously had nothing to do with him but I did inform him of her unprofessionable behavior in the matter. Once again the conductor's # is 457010, and I hope she is reprimanded for tending to personal matters while on duty as well as being distrustful and deceitful to a passenger. The sign on the train says something about NJ Transit wanting my trip to be enjoyable. Hardly!
