Costuming List
Just for my own personal reference, here is a list of the costumes I am currently working on, which is basically all of them, and progress notes. Because I'm sure you're all DEATHLY CURIOUS, which is why I put this behind a cut, because I'm too lazy to tag or make lists or whatever. Possibly alphabetic order but I don't care if it turns out differently because fuck that shit.
Amy Pond (The Impossible Astronaut):
- Shirt (No)
- Capris (Yes)
- Shoes (Yes)
- Pen (Kind of)
- Wig (No)
- Not exact matches on the capris, shoes, or pen, but fuck that, I'm not rich.
Amy Pond (Curse of the Black Spot):
- Shirt (No, but I figure I'll use the same shirt as my Impossible Astronaut Amy because who's gonna notice/care?)
- Pink tights (Yes)
- Jeans skirt (Yes)
- Pirate jacket...whatever (No)
- Boots (No)
- Sword (Hell no)
- Wig (Same as the shirt - from my other Amy costume.)
- Bandolier (No)
- Everything that is currently a 'No' has been deferred until Hallowe'en, because I am most certain things will be SO MUCH EASIER to get around then.
Rebecca Chambers (Resident Evil):
- T-shirt (Yes)
- Capris (Yes)
- Belts (Yes)
- Fingerless Gloves (Yes)
- Pouches (Yes)
- STARS patch (Yes)
- Vest (Dear god no)
- Bandanna (No)
- So basically everything but the vest, which...I am wobbling over right now. I'll see how this shit goes.
Rose Tyler (The Girl in the Fireplace):
- Shirt (Yes! Just paid for it, all it has to do is arrive!)
- Jeans (Yes, already have this pair from years ago and just rediscovered.)
- Belt (No)
- Wig (No)
- "Fire extinguisher" (Aw hell no, I'd just be Rose without the gun, unless I could whip something up somehow that I could lug with me to places!)
- Amusingly enough this costume sprang up out of nowhere, a costume of opportunity, so I'll see how this shit turns out. Shouldn't be too hard to complete and would be my "if I can't finish Amy in time" costume.
Samantha Carter (Stargate: SG-1)
- Jacket (No)
- Pants (Kinda)
- Boots (YES)
- P90 (Hell to the yes)
- Thigh Holster (Can I get a WHAT WHAT)
- Knife/Sheath (Yes/Yes)
- Vest (No)
- Patches (Yes yes and yes)
- This costume's been on hold the longest - the proper jacket and vest are fucking expensive and I won't be able to afford them until I get more money. So that's not happening anytime soon. Ah well, no rush. I've been this patient!
I should really put all this costuming shit on hold. OH WELL. I'm nigh broke but having a shitload of fun with it so that's what matters here I guess. I'm not even gonna mention the other costumes I fucking WANT to do but aren't gonna happen anytime soon. WHATEVS.
