Imaginary Words
What does "embiggen" even mean? I realize it's probably someone's attempt at being "clever" but it really just makes me wanna bang my head against the wall. Just go back to "enlarge", please. "Embiggen" makes you look stupid, like you're trying to go with the crowd and not quite succeeding.
There are other "words" that make me wanna bang my head against the wall too, but this one's the most recent annoyance. Yes, I get language evolves etc., but...no. Just no. Just as some animals lost in the evolutionary race, some "words" clearly lose too.
