Joe and I went bowling last night. I have not been for a while, and I must say it was quite enjoyable! I am not very good, however I did manage to get 101 in one of our games! And 4 strikes for the night! Does camp still go bowling in pre-camp week? That was always fun.

Tomorrow is Anzac Day in Australia and New Zealand. I wanted Joe to drive me to DC so we could attend the dawn service at the Aus Embassy but he has to work. Anzac Day is my favourite public holiday of the year. Dawn Service, two-up and a day off work. Does  not get too much better than that!

I am on a shopping mission today to find the cheapest Asics Gel Kayanos in town. Even at their full retail price they are $100 cheaper here than in Australia! So I am buying not only for me, but for some of the other PE teachers too! Lucky I have a large suitcase. I'll be home in just under 2 weeks. Kind of exciting, but I'm def not looking forward to my 25 hour plane trip. Via Detroit and LA.

Joe has recently gotten into coin collecting. At first I teased him b/c I thought he was being so geeky, but it's kind of interesting. Now we check all our coins for pre-1970 coins to save. He went to a store the other day to get protective covers! Also, he bought a book on coin values and we found out we actually have some that are worth a pleasing amount of money. So, if you find any cool or old coins and don't want them, bring them to camp for Joe! I am still collecting all the state quarters, I have 29. Once I figure out which I'm missing I'll put the word out :) That's all for numismatics.
