Language : English
Ratings : PG-13
Disclaimer: I definitely don't own all the characters here, including the 3 girls... well, probably I just own my character...
Author's note:
This is my first EXILE Fanfic. First of all, the setting of the story is following the EXSamurai version that shown on EXILE LOVE Album and ENTERTAINMENT BEST Album. So don't expect that this story is going to be Heian time story with all those katana only weapons like the one that shown regularly on EXILE Generation. There will be some advance technologies mixed with ancient costumes and stuffs. And if there are still many tacky and non-sense scene, please forgive me. The story is still need many corrections and revise, so... feel free to comment for any suggestions... because I really need that for further development on the story. and also for misspells or any wrong grammars. And this story was un-beta-ed, so forgive me for my poor english.
Part 2
The Kyoto city streets were crowded with people. Shops and merchants were everywhere to see on the main streets. Sora seemed happy to see the crowded place after being on the journey for few times. She looked around and got amazed by the city. Kyoto city was surely big and crowded. They were walking on Gion District.
“This place seems so crowded.” Akira said.
“Yes, Gion district is the most crowded place on Kyoto City.” Makidai said.
“You seem to know a lot about Gion.” Matsu said to Makidai with hidden meaning.
It made Makidai to blush.
Sora came to the guys. “Takahiro, Takahiro, there’s a registration announcement for a vocal audition.” She said in cheerful way while grabbing Takahiro’s hand. “Come on.” She was pulling Takahiro to come with her. “You must be interested with it.”
Takahiro was forced to come with Sora as the girl pulled him away.
“Is she really lacking of sleep lately? She seems to be so hyper.” Matsu said as he saw Takahiro was being dragged away by Sora.
“It’s just because we’ve rarely stayed on one place for a long time.” Makidai said.
“But, Hiro-san.” Usa looked at their leader. “Do we really will stay for some times on this city?”
“Yes.” Hiro replied him as he saw Sora who dragged Takahiro away. “She never failed us, right.”
“Yes.” Atsushi asked.
Hiro looked at the other members. “Let’s find a place to stay tonight.”
“Alright.”
Sora and Takahiro arrived on a large and tall building. It seemed that the building was an arena. There was a singing contest held on the city. Currently the elimination round was held inside.
“It’s here, Takahiro.” Sora said as she pointed to the building.
Takahiro looked at the building then turned to Sora. “Do you really want me to come in?”
Sora smiled widely at him. “Yes.”
“Then you should go back to Hiro-san and the others.” Takahiro said.
“Alright.”
“Becareful, okay.”
“See you later, Takahiro.” Sora said then went away.
Takahiro just waved and saw Sora who walked away then he lowered his hand and turned to the building main door. He walked to the door and entered the building. The big lobby welcomed him. Takahiro could see a long table of receptionist. He walked to the table. One of the receptionists looked up and saw him.
“Do you want to join the audition?” asked the young woman who was sitting on the registration table.
“Yes.” Takahiro answered.
“Ah, well…” The young woman smiled then pulled out a form and gave it to Takahiro. “Take this form and you may enter to that door. The first elimination round will be start shortly. Please wait on the waiting room inside.” The young woman pointed to the entry door politely.
Takahiro looked at the door. “Thank you.” Takahiro said then he walked to the door and entered.
After the first elimination, Takahiro walked further, deep into the arena. He was walking on the corridor of the arena building. Suddenly he heard a faint singing voice. Takahiro stopped his steps. Because of curiosity, Takahiro walked to the source of the voice. The voice brought him to the balcony, where a girl sat on the rock that formed the balcony’s fence, singing.
The girl was using a soft purple with pink sakura motive kimono with length down under her knees. There was a big soft pink ribbon on the back of her obi. Half of her hair was tied on a bun and a bodkin held the hair up. On her hand, she held a silver walking stick. Her voice was soft and clear. Nothing was special from her voice, but her voice was clear and comforting. She also looked like she was enjoying the moment when she sang.
As Takahiro stepped closer, the girl stopped singing and turned her head. Her eyes were closed.
“Who is that?” She asked.
Takahiro stopped his steps. “Forgive me if I’m bothering you. But I mean no harm.”
A slight smile appeared on the girl’s face. “Are you a contestant?”
“Yes.” Takahiro said. “But I think I’ve lost.”
The girl chuckled. “No wonder. This arena is so large.” She raised her hand and pointed to the inside. “Just walk straight ahead from where you have come. Don’t take any turn. Then you will find the hall for the waiting room. You will know the hall easily because they put a board on the front of the door.”
Takahiro looked at the corridor again then turned to the girl. “Thank you.” Takahiro said then went silent. “Anoo…”
“Hai?”
“My name is Takahiro. And just a while ago, I heard you were singing.”
“Ah.” The girl said then she smiled and tilted her head until her cheek touched her hand that on the top of the stick. “It must be very bad, right?”
“Not really.” Takahiro said. He just realized that the girl was blind.
“Really? But I do think that it is bad.” She turned her head again to the city.
“Are you joining the contest?” Takahiro asked and made the girl looked at him again.
“No.” The girl said.
“Too bad. I think your voice is good enough.”
The girl laughed slightly. “You’re too kind. I think you’re the first one who thought like that.” She smiled and gave a slight bow. “But thank you for saying like that.”
Takahiro just smiled.
“Hum… Your voice must be very good, right? Since you’re joining the contest.”
“I don’t think so.” Takahiro said, trying to be low profile.
“Well… we never know until we heard about it.”
Takahiro laughed shyly. “Don’t ask me to sing for you.”
“Why not?” The girl was asked him innocently, while tilting her head and smiling.
“I’m not that good.”
“But I think you’re better than me, Takahiro-san.”
“I don’t know about that too because I haven’t heard you sing.”
Then there was an announcement for all the contestants for the next round to gather on the hall. Takahiro looked at the corridor where he came. The girl stood up and walked down from the rock then walked few steps forwards to Takahiro.
“I think they’re calling you.” The girl said. “You’d better leave now, if you don’t want to be late.”
“Yes.” Takahiro looked at the girl again. “Hum… may I ask who your name is?”
The girl smiled slightly. “Sakura. My name is Sakura.”
“It’s nice to see you, Sakura-san.” He said as he nodded.
“Yes.” The girl nodded. “And it’s also nice to see you, Takahiro-san.”
“I’d better go now. See you again next time.” Takahiro said and left.
“See you soon, Takahiro-san.” The girl said softly as Takahiro went away. She just kept her head at Takahiro as if she saw him went away. Slowly, her smile faded. “And I’m sure it won’t be long enough.”
Then a figure landed behind the girl. The figure was wearing casual type of kimono with short length of skirt. Her kimono was colored on dark gray color with light gray accent on her dress. Her hair tied in one bond on the back. She also used arm protector like a ninja. It was Lopka with a different costume.
“Are you enjoying your time as a blind girl, Lia?” The girl said, called the blind girl with her real name. It turned out that Sakura was the blind girl’ camouflage name.
The girl smiled. “Yes.” She paused. “But at least I found something interesting.” She opened her eyes and looked at Takahiro who walked on the corridor with his back on her. It turned out that she didn’t blind at all. “A nice and gentle youngest member of the EXsamurai.” She said.
“He’s a good-looking man too.” Lopka said.
Lia turned to see the ninja girl with an innocent smile on her face. “I can’t see his face, Lopka. Remember?”
Lopka just smirked.
“Okaeri.” Lia said as she smiled again “You just got home, right?”
“Yes, just a while ago.” Lopka said. “I came home but saw no one there. So I came to see Gail. She told me that you are here.”
“How’s Gail doing?”
“I don’t know. She’s at the bar right now.” Lopka paused and looked at the city under the hill then she continued, “Encountering one of the EXsamurai members.”
“Hmm…” Lia mumbled. “I see.” She walked to the edge of the balcony. “Have you encountered with one of those guys?”
“Not yet. They even don’t know that I was with them. But Atsushi-san seems to notice about my presence lately.”
“Hum… sou ka.” Lia said as she mumbled. “We’d better stop stalking them around.” She turned to see Lopka. “Let’s go and pick Gail up. I’m afraid that she drinks too much again.”
Lopka nodded and said, “Alright.”
Lia folded her silver stick and slipped it to her obi on the back. “Let’s go.” She jumped off from the balcony.
Lopka jumped off and followed her. Both of the girls jumped between the rocks which built the dome down to the city below. They also jumped between the roofs and ran faster but silently. It seemed that their body was so light, so they could jump and run on the roof without making any noises. It was the result of their shinobi’s training for years since they were young.
Takahiro came to the waiting room. The hall already filled with many people who joining the contest. No one there that he knew but it seemed that all the people there came from many places. Takahiro looked around but then he heard the MC of the contest started to speak.
“Allow me to congratulate all of you for passing the first elimination round.” The MC said. “As the night comes late, I’m sure that all of you are tired. So, may I give you times to rest and invitations to attend a small party tomorrow night on a club house called Gekidan. And shall we see each other again on the next round two nights later.”
Then Takahiro received a pamphlet for Gekidan Club House from a staff. Takahiro looked at the pamphlet. It seemed that Gekidan Club House was a place of luxury and entertainment. There were many girl dancers, musicians and performers on the pictures. They were all pretty and seemed to be talented.
“Gekidan, right…” Takahiro sighed as he smiled and looked at the pamphlet. “What a coincidence.”
