So, yeah. Stuff happened, mostly it's just me falling behind on all my shit. Everything from laundry to dishes to emails to posts to job applications to drinking... okay that last one is a lie, I could never fall behind on my drinking. Or eating. In fact, I am so hungry all the time, I want to eat MANHATTAN. Oh, you live in Brooklyn? I hear Brooklyn is tasty too.
Friday night was a WONDERFUL night of fangirling. Let's see -- monanotlisa was in town with her sister. Sisternotmona was the only non-fangirl there, but she remained entertained throughout the evening. mistresscurvy and I were there first and seemed to have had the worst weeks (correlation?). executrix, ladyofthelog, linaerys, musesfool, innie_darling and geekturnedvamp were there... and then I got a text from someone who said she was invited by no_detective who couldn't make it, but this intrepid fangirl was going to join us anyway - one dementedsiren from Chicago. We are all glad she did. Then ahab99 joined us after her Tribeca film. So we were quite a number, quite loud and probably quite silly. OH god, I didn't forget anyone did I? Did I? I feel like I'm missing someone important. Crap.
I hope we all friend each other and carry on those unfinished conversations... fannish cross-pollination. Never a bad thing.
