Wow, I'm sorry your job was such misery! but glad you're Out Of There!
I could send you the first couple seasons of Chuck if you have time on your hands. It's nothing if not feel-good tv!
Hey, I know you said you've used Lightroom -- I want to buy it, but I don't actually want or need the full Photoshop experience, so I'll be getting it all by its lonesome. I have some questions about it for you. :) They'll be easy questions, as I have v. little knowledge.
I was wondering about the organizer aspect. Now, in Elements, the Organizer is horrifying. I organized 2,000 photos from a Yellowstone trip, not realizing until I finished playing with it that every time one opens the Organizer, The Organizer opens thumbnails of. EVERY. FREAKING. PHOTO.
Run, RUN, not walk, away from the Organizer! I couldn't believe there was no way to stop this ridiculosity, but in the books on Elements that I bought, I couldn't find help. In any case, I can't believe Lightroom does this. I've read pros arguing what size photo views to put in LR and about the 3 second time lag if you have to res up to a 1:1 -- the horror!
Therefore, I couldn't believe a pro would sit around for an hour while 20,000 thumbnails appeared.
