Lost my mind, I have. But hey, at least it's finals week!
Okay. So, earlier today, 
peapods42 & I were discussing songfic and how much it usually sucks. And I started thinking maybe, a challenge where the challenge was to use songs as inspiration -- not just lyrics -- wouldn't suck so badly, especially with how amazing my friends' writing abilities are. I mean, we're probably not the first people to think of this, but it's not like music without lyrics can't inspire you, and as long as lyrics aren't used as literal narratives, there's no reason they can't be inspirational either.
So because I'm a masochist, and because clearly, I don't have enough going on in my life, I'm thinking about running one. And so I give you this poll.

Uh, also, if anyone has any preferences as to whether this should be a comment fic challenge or some sort of community, it'd be great if you could comment with that, because I'm an idiot and forgot to include it in the poll, and am tired of editing it. (Twice already. Yeah, I suck at these things.)
At some point I'll have a real post for you, but for now, I'm supposed to be working on the first of two take-home finals, so in the spirit of being able to do that and still watch my tv, there's just this poll. ;)
Finals are hard, and I can't wait for next week to be over. But I hope all is well with all of you. :)
