1. Ultimate dinner party: Who would your four guests be (dead or alive)?
Gah. Um. I hate questions like this!
1. My dad's dad, so I could get to know him as an adult and see if he's actually awesome or if I just remember him that way cause he's my grandpa.
2. Ani Difranco, because dude.
3. Rachel Maddow, because DUDE.
4. My BFF, so that I have someone to squee over everyone else with. LOL
2. If you could take a road trip anywhere, where would you go?
I'd drive out to Chicago then take Route 66 across the country to the PCH, then take that to the Trans-Canadian Highway, then across Canada back home. (I'd road trip pretty much anywhere if I could.)
3. What are some of your favorite queer shows/movies/books?
But I'm a Cheerleader, Better than Chocolate and Incredibly True Adventures of Two Girls in Love share the movies award, although I also love the queer themes in Saved! and Chasing Amy (although I know that's a somewhat, uh, controversial choice). The L Word wins the TV award pretty much by default, as terrible as it is much of the time, LOL. Books...wow, that's a tough one. One of my eternally favorite books, which does include queer stories, is Listen Up: Voices from the Next Feminist Generation. I also love Sex and Single Girls, which also includes queer stories. Oh! Francesca Lia Block's Weetzie Bat series, of course, has gayboys, and I've loved it forever. And I just recently read a YA book called Crush, which was really lovely.
4. If any of your favorite canceled shows could have another season, which would you want it to be?
Wonderfalls, hands down. I'd also take another season of West Wing, Newsradio, Sports Night or Gilmore Girls, tho.
5. Top five celeb crushes (with pics, if you're so inclined).
GAH. Um. I'm really, really bad at limiting myself, so except for 1 and 5, this is mostly just people whose pics I already had on my servers. LOL
