hello. here begins our list.

• i think the internets are trying to get me to watch battlestar galactica. there are too many entries lately about it, and too many articles, and i just.....don't know what the deal is. it's slightly annoying, considering that there are other sci-fi-y shows (ie farscape, firefly, supernatural, etc...) the internets are also trying to get me to get into, and i just can't seem to bring myself to do it. they just all have such good fandoms. it's annoying. either stop it, or actually *convince* me. (please.)
  
• i think the rest of the universe is trying to get me to watch (slightly) crappy cw shows. supernatural fits here too, but i'm about thisclose to finally giving in and catching up on veronica mars and one tree hill. yes, one tree frickin' hill. ugh. universe, don't you understand that the only show i'll watch on the cw is gilmore girls? and that when that's gone, that's it for you and me? argh!
  
• got the test results from my good ol' alma mater yesterday, and it's official: i can join mensa if it's something i *actually* want to do. also interesting: my results from whenever the test was executed? reach the test's ceiling. which means the results themselves are kinda useless, since my real score could be lower (or, i guess, higher). all this is my way of saying graciously something that's impossible to say graciously: i'm apparently a genius. (who the fuck knew?!)
  
• although: that explains all of my ridiculous social ineptitude. seriously.
  
• ....how is someone supposed to react to such a revelation? someone explain it, please, cause i have literally NO idea.
  
• watching more west wing. haven't quite made use of it enough for the money that was spent on it, but i feel confident that that will come. i kinda heart donna with a backbone. in case anyone was wondering.
  
• may go see blades of glory with the girlfriend of the brother tomorrow. we're both kinda meh about it, but it's the only thing out right now that looks like it *might* be *remotely* decent, so that's our movie. we'll see.
  
• ...i'm sure there was something else i had to say, but since i can't remember it, that's it.
