FUCKIN' LIVEJOURNAL YOUR FUCKING NOTIFICATIONS SUCK DONKEY DICK.

I just saw this now as I loitered to document a book I read (that sounds so much more pathetic typed out).

Speaking of your climate (kinda?), I have fallen into the clutches of liking/collecting these goddamn little figures that apparently existed since the '80s (I remember having them and loving the shit out of them, and they weren't even as good as they are now) despite the fact I'll damn near thirty. Why does this involve Australia/you? Apparently the toys (called "Calico Critters" in North America, called "Sylvanian Families" everywhere else) have stores in your goddamn country, but not mine, and apparently have a bunch of little animals specific to Australia (although you can buy them almost everywhere, at least on the internet... mostly.) based on the fact they've become so popular there. My taste in these things runs towards forest creatures I'd find in one of our forests (I mean, you know, sorta) and cats which they didn't have when I was young no matter how badly I wanted them, but Christ if I'm not tempted by the little koalas, kangaroos, and monkeys. COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS ABOUT LIVING WHERE YOU DO, the wandering point aimlessly blathered.

I remember those. But I can't remember if I had them, or if my neighbour had them and I just hung out with her to play with them. Because she was five and I was ten and was probably too old for them but I've never really been one for maturity. I didn't know they'd gotten a reboot, though, or that they were a big thing here. I'll have to keep an eye out.
