[Thor hadn't expected the weather himself, while he should have, though he wasn't about to stop it. He'd felt this building for a long time now and it was finally happening, and although the hammer causing a storm wasn't something foreign to him, it still surprised him. The rain had started yesterday evening, and it had built and built. He knew it' ( Read more... )

[Dean had to work - weather or not - and he wouldn't let the angel just teleport him so here he is, huddled against the wind and rain without an umbrella because he's no idiot to hold a lightening rod. From across the park he spots the demi-god and figures he has a few minutes to spare so he heads over.]

Dude, you feeling okay? [Because god of thunder or not, everyone has issues. And if Thor did have anything to do with the storm then it was something big.]

[Thor looks up as he approaches, and gives him a smile as always. He tries not to look sad, even when his bad mood is manifesting around them.] I am well. [He pauses then adds:] Perhaps you should get under cover from the rain.

[He crosses his arms over his chest, not believing it one bit.] I can handle a little rain. [And Dean feels pretty safe standing next to one of many beings who controls lightning like its child's play.] And I'm calling bullshit on you 'being well'. An older brother is never okay when his little brother gets played like an instrument and blamed for all that crap.

[Dean is smart to think it's safe to stand by Thor, right now. He's a walking lightning rod, just gathers it all up like a syphon. Thor frowns a bit, getting to his feet after a moment.] I am fine. Loki is safe, the situation is over.

[ Steve had always been a fan of the rain, as a kid, and as an adult -- and an artist at that -- he began to see the sort of.. romanticism a storm could bring to the day. As a child, he'd managed to sneak out once or twice, to play with Bucky and the others in the mud, although each time he was brought back inside rather quickly, though not before getting absolutely filthy. Now, he knew he could walk in the rain without care, and so he decided to.

He spotted Thor out of the corner of his eye at the park, and paused, frowning a little, before trotting over to stand in front of the Thunder God, one hand on his umbrella, the other in his pocket. ] Thor? You okay?

[Thor gives him a smile and a nod, then eyes his umbrella, raising a brow.] You realise you are holding a metal rod in a thunder storm, don't you? [He doesn't particularly want to see Steve get electrocuted. That, and he doesn't particularly like umbrellas.]

[ Steve glances up to it, and then grins at Thor, shrugging slightly. ] I'm good friends with a God who controls this kind of weather. I figured I'd take my chances. [ He does close it, though, and moves to take shelter under the tree with Thor, leaning against it though he still stands. ] It's beautiful.

[Thor snorts, shaking his head.] I cannot stop you being electrocuted if a bolt hits that, my friend. You are less likely to be hit while you are with me but... [He shakes his head again, and looks up when Steve says that, smiling a bit more genuinely. It's akin to being told he has a beautiful soul, Steve.] It is, for now. Humans tire of this weather fast, I have found.

[ It was late when she came to stand in front of him, wearing a cape with well oiled leather to protect against the rain, another one in her hand for Thor, should he even want it. She was pretty sure this was his doing, even unintentionally, and she was pretty sure she knew the reason. There weren't any words she could say -- weren't any she wanted to, and instead, she did the one thing he'd respond to best. She sat down next to him, and pulled him into a hug, tucking his head under her chin, placing a kiss to his damp hair. ]

[Blinking at being pulled into a hug, Thor laughs lightly and steadies himself with a hand on her opposite side, glancing up but not moving very much.] You are getting talented at pulling me down here. [He's not complaining, of course, just an observation.]

Your mood always seems to brighten when I do so, and there is no harm in it. [ She chuckles a little, and smiles at him, stroking his hair gently. ] It rained for days when you lost Loki, my memories of returning home tell me. My Thor, why does it rain now?

Does it? I cannot fathom why. [But he presses his face into her chest just a little bit.] I do not know. Mjolnir did it. [He looks at the hammer by his thigh, prodding lightly at it.]

[ Being someone who doesn't yet know there is a God of Thunder running around the city, not that she would believe him even if he told her, she was walking around in a hooded jacket, crossing through the park to get to the market district when she noticed someone just sitting there. In the rain. Curious, she couldn't help herself from walking over to him, though still giving him a fair distance. ]

Either you're homeless, or depressed. Which one is it?

No one is homeless in Aliunde. [He lifts his gaze, giving her a light smile.] I am fine. [Really, he doesn't feel that bad right now. In fact, he's a bit happier than he was.]

Then... [ She offers him a smile in return. ] You desire getting a cold by sitting out in this rain. Everyone thinks it's gonna get bad, so you probably shouldn't stay here long. Especially by a tree.

[He smiles more, shaking his head a bit, and gets to his feet carefully.] I will be alright. I am of the storm. I am Thor, God of Thunder.

[The rain didn't bother Castiel. Honestly, he sort of enjoyed the feel of rain on his skin, soaking through his clothes. He'd decided to take a walk after the whole Gabriel-Alice-Lazarus debacle earlier that day to clear his head. Things were complicated. Things were always complicated. It's as he's approaching the park on his way to the swing-set (he's fond of the swings, don't judge) that he notices Thor and pauses. God of Thunder, plus thunderstorm, not a coincidence. Approaching the blond, he gazes up just as lightning illuminates the dark sky.] One of my brothers had an affinity with lightning.

[Thor looks at Castiel first, then at the sky, and raises a brow at that comment.] A brother with more charm than Gabriel, I hope. [He is only assuming Castiel and Gabriel are brothers, given what they both are.]

[The correct assumption earns Thor a nod, while the comment about Gabriel earns him a small, fleeting smile.] I'm certain Dean would say none of my siblings are particularly charming.

He said as much about my sibling. [He gives him a smile back.] Are you not uncomfortable in the rain?
