Judy's thoughts: 我愿意 (I'm Willing)
A few months back Hsin Yeow emailed me with a song list and asked if I was comfortable with all the songs. I took a look and to my delight, they were all classic, evergreen Mandarin numbers! I personally like many of the songs in the list and was glad that I could sing for Yee Hong and Angela's wedding. It was truly a romantic sight when the newly-weds walked into the ballroom, while I sang 王菲's "我愿意" (I'm Willing).
Yee Hong struck me as a shy, quiet and meticulous fellow when he came over and introduced himself to myself and Ein Ein. Angela looked really pretty, especially in her second outfit - a pink tiered dress that showed off her petite figure and beautiful skin tone. I thought it was a really nice touch that the bride's sisters were all dressed in pink cheongsams. They looked really cute.
What left a deep impression on me was a video made by the couple's friends - a cute presentation of how Yee Hong and Angela met, and fell in love. I was touched by the effort and thought that went into the making of that video. Kudos to them for a great job done!
On another note, I realise I have never sung in Mandarin Oriental's main ballroom and my, what a lovely set-up! For some reason, the room gave me a really cosy feeling. I loved the sight of the decorative center-pieces at the tables. They were unique and not the usual pot of flowers I am used to seeing. The staff were also very attentive and warm. I would definitely recommend this hotel/ballroom to any soon-to-be married couples!
Last but not least, a big thank you to Yee Hong and Angela for having us at their beautiful lunch wedding. I enjoyed performing all the songs and was glad the audience enjoyed themselves too. Here's wish the couple everlasting love and a fruitful journey ahead!
Thanks to eulee, we have these beautiful photos of the wedding! Go find him

Compliments:
Hi Hsin Yeow,
Thanks for your mail, we're back in Melbourne :).
Actually we don't really know what else to say, because they were quite perfect! The event manager that day from the hotel even asked us about Judy and Ein Ein because he was also thinking of asking them to perform at his own wedding; don't know if he has contacted you guys yet?
Would really like to thank Judy and Ein Ein once again, especially since they were so accepting of our all-mandarin song list (we know from her blog that she usually gets a nice mix of both English and Mandarin songs).
Hope that all of you will have a very good new year ahead!
Regards,
Yee Hong and Angela
