Bevlyn's Thoughts: Lucky

This was a fun wedding...for the musicians - cos we got Shawn in with his drum kit, and that made a lot of difference!

Groovy songs like 1,2,3,4, and the pop-rock ballad Ever Ever After were given more dynamics because of the drum set!

Personally I'm surprised Joanne chose the song 'Remember me this way', which was dedicated to her sisters. Taken off the soundtrack of 'Casper', this song is 15-year-old this year! :D

Another favourite for the evening was 'If that's what it takes' by Celine Dion:

A surprise performance item was a sabo item - Joanne knew that one of the emcees could sing very well, and I was passed a slip of paper from Joanne to get him to duet a song with me. He was a little hesitant at first, but gamely took up the challenge after a little persuasion. We performed the duet 'Lucky', which was Joanne and Jason's favourite song. He did an excellent job, and that certainly made a very nice wedding gift, and great memories :)

Congratulations Jason and Joanne, thanks for choosing these great songs, we wish you an 'Ever Ever After' love. Congratulations on being lucky to have found a soulmate in each other!
