Bevlyn's thoughts: 恋爱达人
Trixie, sister of Kersin, together with her then-boyfriend Yuwei, decided to engage us when they heard us on the night of Kersin and Zhihao's wedding. Though I don't meet Trixie (whom I endearingly call "Chun") regularly, the Tokyo trip we went on together close to 10 years ago, and the many hilarious things I heard from Kersin about her had brought us closer, and I felt really touched, thrilled, and happy for her that she has found such a caring, considerate househusband.
The couple reflected their jovial personalities by choosing a very happy song to be the second march-in song "恋爱达人", and Trixie even wore a bright light blue gown! Zhengquan and I had a great time delivering the fun lyrics:

(boy) 宝贝你不会懂 我就是要你心急我恋爱能力可是达人的等级 come on
And what a wait it had been - Yuwei and Trixie were dating for 9 long years. Trixie was in tears shortly after Yuwei started the speech in Teochew to his family. Though I am not a Teochew, I could roughly understand when Yuwei asked his parents to enjoy and eat their full, but only for that day, and the rest of the guests broke out in laughter. I learnt from Kersin later on that Yuwei takes very good care of his parents, one of the ways is by controlling their diet so as to keep their health in check.
Yuwei, with all confidence and sincerity, also thanked Trixie's mother for allowing Trixie to marry him, and he promised to take good care of her. On the other hand, Trixie was trying hard to get a hold on her tear ducts when she thanked her father and her mother for raising her till she is "白白胖胖" (fair and fat). She even gave a tribute to her mother whom she thinks is a very capable woman, someone who is able to ''进得了厨房，走得出厅堂" (enter the kitchen, and leave the hall).
Trixie's mother loves to sing, and she prepared a song "爱你在心口难开" (Love You More Than I Can Say) to dedicate to Trixie. The response from the guests was so good I asked her to sing one more song ''爱的路上我和你" (You and Me, On The Road to Love)!
