Hsin Yeow's thoughts: The Water Is Wide

Kenny and Rei wanted to enter the ballroom to the tune of Can't Help Falling In Love, and they chose Darren Hayes' soulful version of the song. Gosh, I sweated buckets over it, trying to find a way to be true to the version without sounding straining my vocal chords in the process. Luckily, Kenny trusted ( Read more... )

Hi Hsin Yeow and team,

Just return from honeymoon recently. Thanks for the wonderful songs to make the wedding a very 'special one' for Rei and myself. Lots of my friends and guests who had attended our wedding complimented on your team's performances.

A few of them asked me more about 'A Little Dream'. I must say that we are impressed by your version of the 'Can't Help Falling In Love With You'. You had managed to compliment our first march-in very well and several of our guests told us that its a very 'magical' moment.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to your team for the wonderful performance.

"Perhaps it was planned after all, because Kenny sang Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You without any lyrics sheet to guide him! At first, he said he would only sing one stanza, but he ended up singing almost the entire song, while Rei watched in rapt attention."

hahaha... think I need to clarify that its not planned. I was stuck for a moment when being 'sabotaged' to sing a song. Initially I really intended to sing a song but put off the idea after my wife told me that 'she still need to eat' ..

I had to think hard during that moment and this is the only song that 'somehow' I know most of the lyrics and relevant.

and Yes.... forget to wish Jonathan all the best in your studies! UK a very nice place. =)
