You can always rely on a Poliakoff drama to look ravishing if nothing else. I'm enjoying this one rather more than the last (Glorious 39) so far and Angel Coulby has a beautiful voice. Is it just me though, or is he a bit obsessed with sinister government bureaucracy?

Definitely a Wild Woman channelling day today - Boots of Wonder, superhero dress, leather trenchcoat, wild and woolly weather (I nearly got lifted off my feet on Hawkhill on the way into work!). Very glad to be in my nice non-howly office rather than the Turret today!

The sun is shining here today and I'm wearing my fabby artisan trousers rather than wool tights. Still a bit sniffly but *fingers crossed* this cold is on the way out - my head and ears aren't too bad today. And our wedding rings are ready and look gorgeous from the photo the guy has sent me! I went to put my merino cardigan on this morning and realised it has developed 4 holes since I washed it! Am most annoyed, I know it said handwash but I did it on a wool cycle in a fine mesh bag for heaven's sake :( All the other handwash garments I own have survived that no problem. * I walked about 5 miles along Tentsmuir Sands barefoot yesterday. I'm quite surprised I don't have sore feet or a dodgy hip today but then I guess soft sand is quite supportive. So there was a wedding on Friday; rather nice, liked the dress which was nicely understated and more about the shape than the decoration which is just my taste (although I wasn't the biggest fan of the neckline), and the trees, and enjoyed critiquing the hats and frocks on twitter. The Boy is the sort of person things happen to. I don't know quite how he manages it. This week, he had lunch with Brian Cox (the actor not the Professor) and got hit in the mouth by a hailstone, which managed to break a filling and crack one of his wisdom teeth.
