less than stellar timing
so.
i've had my phone for quite a while now - over two years, sine i can upgrade if i so choose. i noticed at work today that the battery was low in spite of having charged it the previous night. i'd noticed on the drive back from memphis (three weeks ago my grandmother died and i rented a car and drove down) my phone wasn't holding its charge for the extent of the drive (which, admittedly, was 14 hours and included a lot of phone-gabbing and facebook-updating and picture-taking). but when i plug the phone in tonight i notice it's not charging. at all. unless i futz with the cable and then hold it once i get a charge going.
so it's 5:30 am and i'm holding my phone and wondering why it's decided to crap out now, when i have both just paid for a flight back to memphis for this weekend and am leaving on said flight so i can't get a new phone shipped to me. tomorrow, i get to go find a store that has the phone i want, and then even with the upgrade discount i still have to, oh, pay for it.
and it's the first hot night of the year and i don't have an a/c. and i just want to sleep.
