I just had a intriguing idea.

Where is the Merlin X Harry Potter Crossover where Merlin has secretly been living on the ages, released from his magical imprisonment because Harry's destruction of Voldermort dislodged something, and he shows up in the magical world, an assuming bumbling idiot, except the Ministry starts to notice things happening, powerful things happening because Merlin can't quite help himself.
And of course the most important thing is to find Arthur, because somehow, somewhere, he knows, just feels the man is somewhere, even though logic dictates that it's been thousands of year since the King has passed on into Avalon. But the very earth tells him that Arthur is alive somewhere in this new realm Merlin has awakened in.
And of course the first thing Merlin does is seeks out the Dragons, with the help of Charlie, attempt to find the oldest and most free of the Dragons left. His old Advisor and once-friend.
