Pairing: Methos x Odysseus
Rating: NC-17
Why: I would actually say this is more Iliad than Troy, since the sense of Hellas is so poignant in this fic. I love this Odysseus, the young Prince who meets a naked stranger conning locals with shells on the beach. There is something wonderfully mythic about the meeting, because the writing evokes the simpler times when Methos in all his easy grace and seductive power does seem like a god from nowhere. The writing style is perfect for the context, lush and unshamed like something out of Greek legend with a wink to pop culture.
And for those completely clueless and are living under a rock which DOESN'T look suspiciously like go-ke,
