Today is my 3rd CBB anniversary! To celebrate the occasion, I have given in to temptation and ordered the CBB Christmas book! Seven things:

1. I have finished reading Behind the Chalet School by Helen McClelland, which I really, really enjoyed. I’ve read bits about EBD’s life in the intro to the GGBP editions of the CS books, but there was a lot in this that I’d not heard before. ( EBD-related ramblings )

Stupid, stupid weather!! No CBB picnic, very little tennis, and despite having both a waterproof coat and a brolly I got soaked coming home from the hairdresser's (approx 1/2 mile!). Oh well. After raining all morning it's now brightened up, but the forecast for tomorrow is vile for both here and Wimbledon. Shame about Henman losing, but a lot of my other favourite players are still in :-(. Gah - due to the evil weather, the CBB Gather has been cancelled altogether. I am never arranging to go anywhere the last Saturday in June again - one year my sister and I got tickets for Wimbledon that day, and it rained all day and we never saw a single point played! Yay! The CBB is working again, the sun is out and the sky is blue! The forecast is good for the rest of the week, although I'm slightly sceptical about that given that it's the week of the Old Trafford Test match LOL.
