Halloween, anyone?
Anyone else getting excited for Halloween yet? It's only about a month away now, though the weather here is still summery and gross. I hope the warmth and humidity goes away soon so the leaves will finally turn pretty colors.
I went to a 'Victorian Ghost Stories' event at a Victorian mansion the day before Halloween 2008. I'm not sure if I'm doing anything this year... Actually, I'm not sure what Halloween events there are this year; they probably won't release those types of lists for a of couple weeks yet. I'm not big on haunted houses or anything too invasive of personal space, but most of the normal stuff is weird, lame, or for kids. I dunno... I think at this point I wouldn't be against doing something with my niece, Ava, (the baby, Ella, is obviously too young) for Halloween. She's talking a little now, so she's a little more interesting than when she was just a wee noisy baby.
Is it sad that I want Halloween lip balms and soap? I love stuff like that this time of year. In fact, I think I will decorate the house for Halloween this weekend. Fun!
Yeah, my wisdom teeth surgery turned out fine. The holes in my gums still haven't closed up yet, though. I wish they would heal up already; I'm so sick of rinsing them out after every meal. Blech.
I did get sick for a little over a week from the antibiotics or something, but I think I'm back to normal now. Jeez, I hope I'm back to normal now. September hasn't been a very fun month for me. =/
I hope October will be better...
