1. in less than an hour i get to see Alias Best Friend for the first time in two years. Im very very very excited.

2. i had probably the best day at work in a long time today. As we all know, (or maybe just i know), but my job is super easy, and all i really do all day long is race against the clock. Today i was super fast at baking. Like, i was an hour and a half ahead of myself. It was fantastic. That was a record. Then breaking out dough for tomorrow was a breeze since i only had to break out a few items. So i spent my last hour and a half cleaning, which i never have time to do. This isn't interesting for you is it? I dont know why im even typing it out.

3. At work, im called several different nicknames. The Phillipino lady who works in Starbucks calls me Sirens Eyes and (her favorite) Sirens Eyeballs. The Cake Decorator calls me Bopper (sometimes THE Bopper), and the reason she calls me that is because her and the boss in Starbucks both call me my real name with the attachment of "bop" at the end. (I would say "Alisabop" but it just doesn't work for the name Alisa like it does with my real name), Anyway, so TCD shortened it to just, Bopper. Sometimes she calls me "Cindy" when she sees me cleaning because somehow i remind her of Cinderella. (and yes, i did tell her that Cinderella's real name is Ella.) Anyway, today, while i was cleaning, she came up with something completely new and crazy. She called me Cyndi "The Bopper" Lauper. I mean... wow. That is a whole new level in the nickname business.

4. And from there we go downhill. I think my mom is going crazy. Not really, but she's mentally not right. My dog Callie has a hurt foot. It's bad. I mean, she hasn't walked on it for months now, and we've taken her to the vet several times, but no one knows whats wrong with her, nor do we have the money to find out, nor to we have the money to fix it once it's figured out. Anyway, Callie doesn't wince at all. She cries when you step on her foot, but that doesn't help. So, we seriously dont know whats wrong with her. We know it's not a broken bone because we took X-rays. We think it's a torn ligament, because just about any other non-broken-bone issues heal in time. Mom doesn't have money to get it fixed, but my mom is freaking out because Callie is obviously in pain. She doesn't eat, she barely puts any weight on her foot, she is ridiculously thin, and her tears are starting to muck up her fur. You know how when you see old dogs, their eyes look gross? That's whats happening to Callie. Part of me thinks it's because she's old. (She is an old dog. She's 10 years old), but she was in really good shape before whatever happened to her foot. She was healthy and fit, and strong, and didn't look anything like a 10 year old dog. Anyway, Mom doesn't want to see a dog in pain, because she looses it. Like now. She's loosing it. She is completely overreacting to whatever is wrong in her food. I know she has massive money issues, but she is talking craziness like, putting Callie down, FOR A TORN LIGAMENT. Listen Mom, i 100% understand that dogs shouldn't live in pain, but for God's sake, it is lunacy to put a dog down just because you cant pay for a torn ligament surgery. I am 100% NOT ok with this.

Sorry to leave on such a sad note, but i gotta go meet my friend for lunch.
