Slept some more after getting home tonight. Then I decided that I was hungry and decided to go out. I needed to return some movies anyway:

- Lost in Translation:

Really good movie. I really like the way this movie made me feel.

- Mulholland Dr:

This movie was really strange. It isn't one of my most favorite movies, but I really did like ( Read more... )

Yeah, I've got both Amélie and Mulholland Dr. on DVD. They're the kind of movies that I enjoy watching from time to time -- especially the latter. I have Lost in Translation burned to a CD, but I'd really like to buy the DVD.

Hm.. I'm in the midst of compiling a list of my favorite movies. I'll paste what I've got so far here:

• Ran (It's incredibly difficult for me to narrow down to one Kurosawa film, but this is his apotheosis.)
• Nausicaä of the Valley of Wind (Likewise, choosing one Miyazaki film is painfully trying.)
• Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (Yes, I still like this more than Hero.)
• The Wicker Man (Everything about it is absolutely charming.)
• Baraka (I have to appreciate a film that includes my favorite Dead Can Dance song.)
• Mulholland Dr. (The quintessential David Lynch movie.)
• Tokyo Story (A brilliant example of subtlety in filmmaking.)
• 2001: A Space Odyssey (The first appearance of the black monolith still makes my spine tingle.)
• Visitor Q (The best attack on "reality" TV I've seen.)
• 28 Days Later ( ( ... )

Okay, there are still typos or weird brain hiccups in there, but I've already posted twice, so forgive me -- I am drunk. :)

Ick, an insect is still an insect. I probably would've killed it as well. Bugs belong OUTSIDE of the house.

I curse the bugs that try to attack me too!

The bands you mentioned sound scary...Nightmares and Death Threats...

LOL, yes.. they sure do belong outside of the house, good point. I feel that my murder has been justified.

American Nightmare and Death Threat! They're nowhere near what Brittney Spears is by all means, but check them out!

Lol, Kymface. Mosquitoes are annoying, sure... but hardly on my list of worst pests to encounter. Spiders, of course, are awful. But most buggies don't bother me. :p

Anyhow, you didn't mention the drawing I did for you. I don't remember what time I actually did it, so this post may have been before... I dunno. ._. I'm still tired.

Oh yeah! How's AOL workin' out for ya? I cancelled my account... but I didn't get to talk to you. :(
