I'm writing an academic paper about a Martian. Seriously. For 20% of my grade. Sometimes I'm not sure if linguistics is cool...or just strange.

Doing syntax on Klingon- Cool
Studying Elven- Also cool
Making up a language - Double Cool

:D Well one thing is for sure after 1 "week" of classes. My MWF are going to rock. 3 Linguistics classes in a row. Totally doesn't feel like 3 hours at all. *G*

Wow, 3 updates already and it's not even 4.
And a few more things to add to my list of things to wonder about:

1) Why is it spelled catheterization...when everyone pronounces it "Catherization" or actually "kae(th)raize(sh)un" <--Need to figure out how to type symbols from the Intenational Phonetics Alphabet (IPA) now. That's not even a little bit ( Read more... )
