I hate the little fuckers. Not as much as I hate mothers, but almost. However, I must either be really masochistic or be really good at dealing with with them, or both, since I seem to spend my every waking moment dealing with them, and thinking and worrying about them when I actually get away.
As far as the club - in the immortal words of Woody Allen...you know how the quote goes :) I am however glad for my friends ... :)
True that. Unfortunately, you are entering a place where you are more likely than not to encounter them. Just carry on and feel superior, that's what works for me!
Ha :) Do I know that... I also understand the importance of them, since sometimes though their massive communal stupidity, they actually accomplish good things, though means rarely justify the ends.
Not so sure about feeling superior..that has not worked for me in the past.
For now, the plan is to stick to friends who I love and trust, be creative and flexible, and do what's best for the offspring. Hopefully that will work.
Fortunately for me, in the world of all things "Childhood" I am very much at home, for various reasons, so I think it will be OK :)
Welcome to the club, dude.

I actually hate most mommies, too, especially the ones that are totally obsessed with baby and mommy world. I hope I never turn into one of those!

(though I am sure the sentiment applies to many great and wonderful minds) :)
"Mommies" are a special breed. Dear God, please keep them them far away from me and my family.
I think that as long as you have a sense of self and a purpose in life, you don't risk much even if you have children.
